This breakfast is a particularly special treat. It has a delicious sweet/tart combination, plus fiber and protein to start you off right. Annnd being a college student that usually only fixes meals for herself, the individual size is so convenient!

Strawberry Apple Breakfast Crisp
Ingredients
Filling
1/2 a granny smith apple, cored and cut into bite size pieces
1/3 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced
1 tsp turbinado or brown sugar
1/8 tsp cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp vanilla
1 heaping tsp cornstarch
Topping
1/6 cup almonds
1 tbs + 1 tsp oats
1 tsp turbinado or brown sugar
1/2 tsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp olive oil
pinch of sea salt
1/8 tsp vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. Mix all filling ingredients in a ceramic, (or otherwise heat-proof) bowl.
