The chocolate flavor isn't overpowering so if you want oodles of chocolate-y goodness, I suggest you add some vegan chocolate chips.
I find these are best served warm with some blackberry-banana soft serve (handful frozen blackberries + 1 frozen banana processed with 1 tbs almond milk until smooth).

1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup agave nectar
1 tbs vanilla
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup spelt flour (or whole wheat)
1/2 - 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
Preheat oven to 325F. Combine applesauce, oil, agave, and vanilla.
