Fruity Pebbles Crispy Treats

I am veering more and more away from non-vegan foods, but I could not resist making these.  They are so fun to look at and easy to make!  But that's not my main motive...that would be the fact that my bestie who just graduated (!!!) loves Fruity Pebbles.  She also loves making Peanut Butter Rice Krispies...so it just made sense.  I had to make them as a graduation present.

Hopefully you and your Fruity Pebbles/Rice Krispy-loving friends will enjoy these too!

Fruity Pebbles Crispy Treats

Recipe from Gingerbread Bagels

Ingredients
5 tbs butter (I used earth balance)
4 cups mini marshmallows (find vegan marshmallows if you can!)
5 cups fruity pebbles cereal

Directions

Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat until melted.  Add marshmallows and stir until melted.

Remove pan from heat.  Add fruity pebbles and stir vigorously until well combined with the marshmallow mixture.  Transfer to a greased 8x8 baking dish.

Press down with wax paper until the surface is flat and even.  Let cool in the fridge for 30 minutes before cutting.  Enjoy! Serves 12.
