I have come to accept that many of the things I eat, other people think are totally bizarre. But I'm okay with that. If you're willing to give these things a chance (because I wouldn't dare share a gross recipe with you) I appreciate you and you wont regret it : )
What's an oatie you say? Well...its a smoothie with oats in it! Waaaait wait don't go! It's not as weird as you think. Unless you decide it's a good idea to sip it... Delicious, cool, and still tastes like breakfast.

Three days without a recipe and I feel like I've neglected this blog...I'm sure I had the time to do it; I dont know what happened! So sorry, but I've got a wonderful treat to make it up to you : )
Before calculating the nutrition facts, I really thought this was going to be one of those guilty pleasure desserts...something you could only have if you were reeeeally good all week. Oh man I was wrong. This bread isn't overly sweet and it manages to still be light while having a subtle creaminess to it. Well now I suppose if you really were looking for an indulgence you're disappointed...don't be! You will absolutely love this and you can still pretend to be bad ; ) I would consider my second attempt at making banana bread a wild success; and this one is much more waistline friendly! |
