I have come to accept that many of the things I eat, other people think are totally bizarre. But I'm okay with that. If you're willing to give these things a chance (because I wouldn't dare share a gross recipe with you) I appreciate you and you wont regret it : )
Chocolate Cherry-Berry Oatie
1/3 cup oats
1 tbs chia seeds
2/3 - 3/4 cup almond milk
1 scoop chocolate vegan protein powder
1 medjool dates, finely chopped
1/4 tsp vanilla
dash of cinnamon
3/4 cup frozen berries (I used 1/4 c cherries, 1/4 c blueberries, and 1/4 c blackberries)
Directions
Mix all the ingredients except the berries in a bowl. Cover with plastic and let sit in the fridge overnight (yup, you're making overnight oats!). In the morning, just blend the oats and fruit together, adding almond milk as necessary and enjoy! Feel free to make it into a parfait by adding in some layers of fruit and/or granola. Yummyyy.
